Colonnade BridgePort’s continued growth and expansion of transformative new developments in transit oriented urban mixed-use projects has created an opportunity for a full-time Resident Services Coordinator located in Ottawa.


Reporting to the Property Manager and working closely with the Residential Property Administrator, the Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all resident requests by liaising with the appropriate property management and operational personnel. The incumbent will be accountable for the overall appearance of the community, assisting in marketing functions, and providing exceptional front-line customer service while maintaining good judgement and a high level of confidentiality.

So that you know what to expect on any given day, you’ll be doing one or all of these things:

  • Providing excellent customer service by assisting in all day-to-day building activity.
  • Utilizing service support as needed to maintain the overall appearance of the community and ensure the safety of all residents.
  • Utilizing troubleshooting skills to respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinating move-in dates, administering key handover and move-in unit inspection with incoming residents.
  • Coordinating move-outs, pre-move inspection and final inspection for outgoing residents, including assessing any charges for damages and delivery of the final utility bill if applicable.
  • Assisting with maintaining the appearance of the administration office, amenities, model suites, and units.
  • Maintaining up-to-date resident information and emergency contact logs.
  • Coordinating building amenity reservations.
  • Conducting 100% follow-up phone calls to residents to ensure that work orders are completed to the resident’s satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a positive environment for both residents and staff and encourage participation in events and activities.
  • Assisting in mediation and resolution of resident conflicts by encouraging the respect for and appreciation of individual differences.
  • Demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and tactfulness to generate positive company image.
  • Performing other duties as needed to assist the Property Manager, Property Administrator and/or Leasing team.

The Qualifications or skills we would like you to bring to the position include:

  • 1 to 3 years of previous sales experience
  • Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent); Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Property Management preferred
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and autonomously as needed
  • Prior experience in Property Management and knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi and other CRM systems is an asset
